Do you have proven painting experience with the application of marine coatings?Looking for an exciting new work environment?Join a dynamic world-leading multi-modal Australian transport tourism company!Access to a range of employee benefitsAbout the RoleReporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will carry out paint repairs on terminals and vessels and support the maintenance team where necessary with general labouring responsibilities.This is an active/physical role carrying out the following responsibilities:

• Paint repairs on terminals and vessels to contract standards.
• Complete Work Orders and ensure timely sign-off / close-off for completed work along with relevant feedback information as required.
• Complete stock take responsibilities.
• Maintain a safe working environment ensuring work is performed per safety requirements.
• Maintain good housekeeping.
• Conduct work on projects and other tasks as required.
• Develop and maintain positive work relationships within the team.

About YouWe are seeking a number of suitable candidates to work as a member of the Maintenance Paint team, contributing to a positive team environment.The successful applicant must possess the following:

• Painting experience with the application of marine coatings.
• Demonstrated active involvement in Zero Harm safety philosophy and participate in toolbox and pre-start meetings.
• Demonstrated commitment to teamwork.

It is desirable the successful applicant possess the following:

• Forklift License desirable
• EWP
• High-Risk Work (Confined Space/ Working at heights) licence is highly desirable.
