POSITION OVERVIEW:

Primary responsibility is to ensure on time receiving, unloading assembly, and dispatching of goods. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Participate in toolbox meetings

• Picking and loading deliveries and pickups for customers using Pronto RF system
• Receiving and unloading stock deliveries 
• Follow appropriate process to sort daily orders for timely and correct collection
• Cycle counts and stock take as per procedures and process
• Process daily connotes by end of shift
• Transmit electronically daily courier transfers 
• Following orders as per appropriate documentation – seek assistance from Senior Warehouse Operator/Warehouse Manager as needed
• Ensure the warehouse is always kept clean and tidy
• Assemble products into deal packs as required
• Quality checks of all incoming and outgoing product
• Rework of faulty product packages as and when required
• Follow procedures relating to tags, sticks, tape or bands onto products
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations, environmental regulations, and quality standards
• All other duties as requested or delegated

 EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

• Previous knowledge and experience in Warehousing or Logistics advantageous 
• Experience in maintaining a safe work environment
• Adaptable and work autonomously to achieve results
