The Role
Join Provedores in Tamworth as a Storeperson. Help us expand and increase our customer base. Responsibilities include stock control, order processing, and delivery. Let's succeed together.
Hours of operation are 4 am – 4 pm, consisting of 8-hour shifts, so whilst primarily a day role, it may require working early mornings, afternoon or night shifts as required.
Your Key Accountabilities may include but may not be limited to the following.
- Be competent in covering all roles in the warehouse, assisting as necessary to achieve daily KPIs.
- Warehouse stock control- Stock Receiving, replenishment and rotation- stock picking, loading and despatch.
- Administration duties, applying credits, printing invoices and orders.
- Actively contribute to being a key member of our team able to cover and support the Branch and Operations Managers.
About you
Looking for a candidate with warehousing experience and food knowledge. Good communication skills and ability to work well with diverse customers. Self-motivated and adaptable to change.
The ideal applicant might ideally possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Good food knowledge.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to coordinate and communicate tasks with other team members.
- Keeping the warehouse clean.
- Pick & pack experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience operating a forklift.
- Delivery experience.
- Reliable, punctual and possess an excellent work ethic.
- Excellent ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Hands-on approach with good planning and organisation skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude.
- Demonstrated computer literacy and data entry skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to deliver quality customer service.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.
- Maintain a professional presentation, confidence and positive behaviour.
Candidates with the following qualifications and experience are preferred.
- Truck driving experience with multi-drop delivery experience and MR driver’s Licence is preferable but not essential.
- Experienced forklift driving/licence is preferable but not essential.
