Join us in our Contract Logistics team as an Operations Manager. You’ll play a vital part in our success, developing, designing, and implementing innovative warehouse solutions, which bring standardisation, visibility, and actionability to our customer’s supply chains.

The Role
Reporting to the Distribution Centre Manager, the Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring that all operational functions are in line with business and customer expectations and carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
- Manage and hold full accountabilities on the operational KPIs to ensure good performance as committed in the Business Plan and Contractual Agreements with the Principles
- Report KPIs progress and propose/implement corrective actions to close any gaps identified on a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Daily labour management to achieve DC productivity targets.
- Manage the team in different people aspects including safety, compliance, performance review, competency development and disciplinary actions etc.
- Prepare and analyze budgeting and P&L reports.
- Design and develop operational planning tools which optimize the daily workload activities and labor requirements.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain, Logistics Management, or Business Management
- 3-5 years in a similar role managing a team of warehouse staff.
- Experience in delivering changes within a Logistics environment.
- Proven high quality leadership skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Capable of managing a diverse team with varying levels of experience
- Strong ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Exceptional planning and prioritisation skills
- Strong commercial and analytical acumen
- Demonstrated relevant software skills.
- Experience with a Warehouse Management System
- Experience in retail & eComm will be advantage.
- New BU set up experience is highly preferred.
