Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring that the workshop and warehouse are clean, organised, efficient and safe at all times.
- Management of the procurement and asset inventory including the development and maintenance of effective systems of purchasing, inventory and asset management.
- Loading and unloading of stock and materials either into store or across the site including manual handling of heavy and/or awkward objects
- Operate the forklift safely to move heavy pallets and goods.
- General maintenance and compliance for the warehouse and assets including chemical management, and vehicle checks and servicing.
- Monitor and maintain stock levels by communicating with the Operations team when new orders need to be placed.
- Transport materials by driving trucks to and from site or suppliers as required.
- Develop a system where tools are tracked and accounted for when taken out of the warehouse.
- Conduct prestart checks on vehicles and equipment as required.
- Communicate with the Operations team of any updates, delays or issues regarding a job, site or materials.
- Work actively in a team to ensure tasks are completed to a high standard.
Key Requirements
- Minimum of two years’ experience working in a similar role
- HR Truck Drivers Licence and proven experience driving and operating trucks.
- HRWL – Forklift ticket with considerable experience operating a forklift.
- Construction White Card
- National Police Clearance
- Fire Warden Qualification
- Competence using a mobile device and/or PC to interface with business management software used for procurement and asset inventory.
- Intermediate Computer Skills
- Knowledge of the Perth metropolitan area and road traffic regulations
- Knowledge and awareness of different types of building materials

- Certificate in Warehousing or relevant field
