We are a leading plastic packaging manufacturer with five manufacturing and distribution sites across Australia.
This role is based in our Perth Office, reports to the Operations Manager to unpack import containers, conduct general warehousing duties, liaise with stakeholders & allocate freight.
The role will be part-time hours Monday – Friday 0800 – 1300.
Your main role but not limited to:
- Pick and pack outgoing orders
- Forklift Operation
- Unloading sea containers
- Checking stock in (batch number recording & stock quantity checks)
- Preparing parcels for mailing and taking to the post office
- Conduct general warehousing duties
- Housekeeping
- Stocktaking
- Stock rotation
- maintaining a well-organised warehouse
- maintaining a safe and clean working environment
Criteria:
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 20kgs when necessary
- Forklift license is a MUST
- Punctual and committed
- Friendly personality
- Team player
Skills and experience
- RF Scanning experience will be a bonus
- Excellent attention to detail
- Basic computer skills - MS Word, Excel and E-mail
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
