Our Cunderdin Branch has an opportunity for a Warehouse Operator / Store Person to join the team in a full-time role working 7am to 4pm weekdays with Saturday working via a roster.
About the role:
Your primary responsibility will be performing various despatch, warehouse and delivery functions and you will be given the opportunity to improve and contribute to the ongoing growth and success of our Cunderdin branch. You will be given on the job training to cater to any applicants skill & knowledge level that has a willingness to learn.
What you will be doing:
- Receiving and checking the arrival of inventory supplies, freight forwarders and local suppliers.
- Maintain all delivery documentation.
- Picking and packing orders for despatch, using the appropriate computer operating system.
- Recording product quality issues.
- Participating in stocktakes.
- General Warehouse duties.
- Safely operate and conduct vehicle checks of the company delivery vehicle.
What you will bring to the role:
- Excellent communication skills, customer service skills and a positive attitude.
- You understand the benefits of safety and like to work in a safe manner at all times.
- Ability to prioritise competing demands and maintain a sense of urgency.
- High accuracy and low error rates in counting, recording and data entry of parts information.
- Current forklift ticket (Ideal but not essential).
