We are seeking a friendly, dynamic, passionate and highly motivated Warehouse Store Person to join our team at our new Victoria Distribution Hub (Cranbourne West Victoria).
Key responsibilities may include:
- Unloading shipping containers.
- Overhead Crane operations.
- Receiving and dispatching trucks and schedules of deliveries.
- Organising Talostone samples.
- May involve manual lifting nothing over 25kg.
- Working in collaboration with Talostone team around the day-to-day management of the Distribution Hub.
- Manage all facets of warehouse administration as directed and general daily duties as required.
- Organising the storage and stocktaking of Talostone engineered slab materials.
- Scan, upload and file documents securely.
- Process delivery dockets into the system in a timely manner.
- May assist clients with various tasks such as; showing customers Talostone colour range, providing advice and recommendations to stonemasons directories.
Qualifications:
- Must have current Victorian fork lift licence.
- Overhead Crane operations knowledge and experience is an advantage.
- Customer Service qualifications or equivalent experiences.
- Previous stone and masonry industry experience and knowledge is preferred but not limited to.
- Current Drivers Licence.
- First Aid and Fire Safety Certificate preferred but not essential.
Skills and experience for role:
- Great professional communication and customer service skills both face to face and over the phone.
- High attention to detail and multitasking is a must.
- Ability to problem solve, negotiate, mediate and resolve any conflict.
- Great organisation and time management skills.
- Computer skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and OH&S.
- Be a cooperative and friendly team player and able to work unsupervised.
- Be honest, reliable and punctual.
What you need to know:
- This role is an all rounder full time position - Monday to Friday.
- All applicants must be entitled to work in Australia and be prepared to undergo a criminal history checks, pre-employed alcohol and drug screening.
- Working Hours: Monday-Friday 08:00AM-04:00PM.
- Role to start ASAP.
