The Storeworker position will assist in the timely and efficient movement of stock inwards and outwards from the warehouse. This will include warehouse activities, subject to direction when required, as directed within the limits of skill competency and training, including incidental cleaning.
This role includes maintenance of the warehouse area, allocating and retrieving goods, storing and packing of goods and materials in accordance with appropriate procedures and/or regulations. Any additional duties as directed by your Supervisor/Manager.
Roles & Responsibilities:Daily Tasks and Planning
- Ensure deliveries are received, checked and stored into warehouse from both local and overseas suppliers (containers).
- Order picking and packing.
- Check stock levels.
- Allocating and retrieving goods from specific warehouse areas.
- Predelivery of new equipment prior to dispatch.
- Warehouse maintenance.
- Showroom maintenance and regular cleaning of display stock
- Carry out all warehouse activities within WH&S regulations.
Administration
- Process packing slips and customer orders as directed, providing necessary details as per standard processes.
- Gain necessary evidence (proof of delivery) of signatures / con notes on all goods/products that leave the Company’s warehouse / store or other place as supplied.
- Comply with all current company Warehouse procedures.
- Complete administration duties related to the role in a timely manner, as required.

Qualification/Educational Requirements
- Current Drivers licence
- Forklift licence
Previous Experience/Knowledge
- Previous experience in the similar role
- Mechanical / technical role where you were using hand tools and or machinery
