Reporting directly to the Warehouse Team Leader who will be your mentor and key to your success, your role will be critical in the successful receiving and despatching a wide range of office furniture to a wide cross section of companies across Melbourne and regional Victoria.
Assisting the Warehouse Team Leader your “can do” attitude will see you:
- Picking and packing orders
- Accurately receipting and dispatching of goods
- Keeping the warehouse in a neat and organised manner
- Working closely with the Logistics department and other stakeholders re delivery schedules
- Participating in stock takes as required
- Maintaining OH&S standards in line with company process and policy
- Experience working in a busy warehouse for a minimum of 1- 2 years
- Current Forklift License LF with forklift driving experience
- Attention to detail and safety conscious
- Computer literate
- Strong Communication skills – good command of English
- Ability to communicate and deal with customers
- Effective team player and able to work well with others
- Good problem solving ability
