We are looking for an experienced and motivated storeperson to join the team at our Willetton warehouses. You will require excellent forklift skills (high reach), be friendly and very comfortable communicating with trade customers, with a high attention to detail. The ability to work unsupervised, be self-motivated and take ownership of the role are essential.
As you would also be delivering building materials to construction sites across the Perth metropolitan area, a current driver’s licence is required as a minimum. You must be physically fit, as the job does involve manual handling including mixing and tinting 23kg texture buckets and handling lightweight wall panel systems.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Forklift driving (high reach)
- Order picking, packing and receivals
- Mixing and tinting of paint & textures to exact colour specifications
- Organising and co-ordination of regional and metro deliveries
- Deliver orders to construction sites across the Perth metro area
- Liaising with subcontractors and construction supervisors on-site
- Data entry to our Warehouse Management System
- Stocktake
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
- Other duties as required
You must have the following credentials/skills:
- Current Australian driver’s licence (mandatory)
- Current Forklift ticket with strong skills including high reach experience
- HR Truck and/or Hiab licence is advantageous
- High level of physical fitness
- Police clearance
- Computer literate with previous experience in Warehouse Management Systems
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Attention to detail is paramount – able and confident to self-check
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Efficient worker who can work unsupervised but also as part of a team.
- Follows workplace OH&S standards and procedures at all times
This is a full-time position working 5 days, 40 hours per week Monday – Friday (6.30am starting time). An immediate start is available.
