Located in northwest Queensland, Cannington boasts an underground mine and processing facility situated approximately 900 kilometres west of Townsville and a concentrate handling facility at the Port of Townsville. - Lead a team in supporting Warehouse culture and ensuring standards are adhered to in accordance with South32 Values
- Manage Warehouse Inbound and outbound logistics, including managing site deliveries as required
- Effective Inventory Management through planned and timely warehousing processes such as stock receipts, stock issues, stock takes and reporting
- Ensure the Warehouse is secured and kept to a high level of housekeeping and tidiness
- Manage warehouse safety risks by ensuring proper controls are in place and in accordance with our SWI's, systems, procedures, processes, and South32 values
- Prior experience in a Supervisory role within mining or heavy industry, ideally in warehousing
- Proven success at leading and engaging a team to be highly productive and safety focused
- Strong collaboration and communication skills that allow you to engage and influence whilst building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Self-starter with demonstrated ability in continuous improvement and cost saving initiatives
- Working knowledge of SAP along with a high level of attention to detail
- High Risk - Forklift ticket
- Supervisory qualification - S1, S2, S3
- Current C class drivers' licence
