Located in northwest Queensland, Cannington boasts an underground mine and processing facility situated approximately 900 kilometres west of Townsville and a concentrate handling facility at the Port of Townsville. ABOUT THE ROLEThis role is a Permanent full-time position on a 7:7 roster, FIFO from Townsville or Brisbane, or DIDO from Mount Isa.As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for safe, efficient, and effective Warehousing operations.Other key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:

• Lead a team in supporting Warehouse culture and ensuring standards are adhered to in accordance with South32 Values
• Manage Warehouse Inbound and outbound logistics, including managing site deliveries as required
• Effective Inventory Management through planned and timely warehousing processes such as stock receipts, stock issues, stock takes and reporting
• Ensure the Warehouse is secured and kept to a high level of housekeeping and tidiness
• Manage warehouse safety risks by ensuring proper controls are in place and in accordance with our SWI's, systems, procedures, processes, and South32 values

ABOUT YOUYou will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

• Prior experience in a Supervisory role within mining or heavy industry, ideally in warehousing
• Proven success at leading and engaging a team to be highly productive and safety focused
• Strong collaboration and communication skills that allow you to engage and influence whilst building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Self-starter with demonstrated ability in continuous improvement and cost saving initiatives
• Working knowledge of SAP along with a high level of attention to detail

Qualifications for this position are:

• High Risk - Forklift ticket
• Supervisory qualification - S1, S2, S3
• Current C class drivers' licence
