Position Overview
We are currently recruiting a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team located in Riverwood NSW.
This is an opportunity to work with an industry leader and be responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse activities and Operations. Ensuring the safe and effective management of the company's policies and procedures.
To succeed in this role, you will be passionate about managing warehousing operations, with knowledge of operational health and safety and possess excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Overseeing and managing all aspects of day-to-day warehouse operations, from receiving, picking, packing and distribution, whilst ensuring efficient and organised processes.
• Supervise the Warehouse Team, providing them with assistance, leadership, and guidance.
• Training and developing new and existing employees.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering with OH&S regulations, ensuring all employees understand and promote a strong safety culture.
• Manage inventory control and implement systems to monitor stock levels, identifying and minimising discrepancies and ensuring accurate records.
• Overseeing accuracy of picking, packing, and loading of products.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics and ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Meet or exceed Warehouse Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)
• Assist with the implementation of WMS, including RF Scanning and systematic procedures.
• Administration tasks as required.
• Develop and implement warehouse procedures to optimise processes and minimise costs.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and achieve operational excellence.
Skills and Experience:
• Prior warehouse experience essential
• Previous experience leading a team (minimum 2 years)
• Strong knowledge of warehousing processes, procedures, and operations
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong organisational and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a team effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical fitness is required as heavy lifting is required.
• Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of staff.
• Computer literacy with experience using Microsoft programs.
• Current drivers’ licence (essential)
• Current Forklift licence (essential)
