Warehouse Supervisor Day Shift

MEDLOG is an integrated service provider within the container transport industry with locations in Naval Base in W.A.  Specialising in wharf cartage, container storage and handling, warehousing and distribution, we are a globally owned group growing rapidly in the Western Australian marketplace.

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at our Naval Base Depot.  Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for the supervision of the warehouse team to ensure safe and efficient operations with a high level of service to our customers.

In this role you will be responsible to:

• Ensuring warehouse teams meets daily client requirements
• Maintain an accurate stock inventory 
• Manage bookings for 3rd party collections an external transport providers
• Co-ordinate transfers, container unpacks, export packs and 3PL orders

• Administration tasks via WMS  
• Conduct stocktakes, investigate and report discrepancies 

• Manage ABF Bond Store 
• Work with warehouse admin to report any damage, delays or discrepancies   
• Ensure all safety requirements are met to a high standard, including coordination of monthly toolboxes and incident investigations.

To be successful in this role you will someone who works well under pressure and thrives on keeping busy and ideally have the following:

• Three (3) years’ experience in a busy warehouse or transport environment leading a team
• Solid leadership and supervisory experience
• Excellent communication and relationship management
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• A high level of attention to detail and confident with working autonomously
• Sound computer skills and knowledge MS Office products
• A high focus on excellent internal and external customer service 
• Experience with fumigation requirements and certification desirable
• Knowledge of customs requirements and regulations desirable
 

Other attributes that would be looked on favourably would be experience with handling of steel, transport of shipping containers and holding a current forklift license.
