An opportunity currently exists for a Warehouse Supervisor based at our Tennyson site on a permanent full-time basis. This position will be responsible for the day to day receipting and storage of all raw materials and finished goods and ensuring that all GMP, HACCP and WHS Legislation are compiled and adhered to.
Key accountabilities include:
- Ensure all goods are picked accurately to paperwork / warehouse management system to provide accurate deliveries at all times.
- Where required, appropriate pallet(s) for orders are selected and stacked to minimise stock damage and maximise stability.
- Products are correctly selected and assembled to meet order requirements and workplace schedules.
- Evaluates the work performance of subordinate staff and recommends the selection, orientation, retention, training, promotion and discipline of employee group.
- Always maintain proper staffing levels.
- Unloading of finished goods from incoming transport carriers and receipting of finished goods / raw materials into the Warehouse
- Temperatures of chilled & frozen products are recorded in accordance with Quality procedures.
- Stock levels are counted against appropriate documentation.
- Internal/External customer requirements are dealt with according to workplace procedures.
- Knowledge of products, services and/or operations correctly applied to answer customer queries or to respond to customers' needs.
- Defective/irregular performance and malfunctions of material handling equipment reported to relevant personnel.
- Participate in and promote a culture that adheres to the highest quality, GMP and Food Safety standards.
- Comply with all relevant legislative requirements and company policies, procedures and reasonable instructions.
- Experience in FMCG or Logistics industry (desirable).
The successful applicant will possess:
- 3-5 years’ experience in supply chain area and people management.
- Fork lift Licence.
- Driver’s Licence.
- Competent in Microsoft Office product use.
- Understanding of SAP warehouse management systems.
- Leadership and team building skills.
- Understanding of D365 warehouse management.
