Our client, a leading national supplier of automotive equipment, are seeking a motivated Warehouse Team Leader to join their busy Warehouse Team in Jandakot on a permanent basis. With experience in team management and delivering effective and efficient warehouse operations, you will be responsible for making sure things run smoothly, overseeing a team of 4-5 people in the accurate fulfilment of customer orders whilst working in a safe and collaborative manner.

About the role
As the Warehouse Team Leader, you will be responsible for the following:
- Overseeing a team of 4-5 people to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations.
- Ensure accurate picking and preparation of orders in a timely manner.
- Safe operation of forklift trucks to load and unload delivery vehicles and containers, as well as moving and placing stock within the correct designated warehouse locations.
- Re-stock all picking locations as and when required.
- Preparing orders and assisting with the loading of delivery vans.
- Maintaining a clean and organised warehouse.
- Ensuring compliance with all site safety rules.
- Other general warehousing duties.
To be successful, you will possess the following:
- Demonstrated/ Proven experience in a Team Leader role and overseeing/managing teams - essential.
- Current and valid LF forklift truck licence - essential.
- Demonstrated experience of the safe operation of forklift trucks, both Counterbalance & High Reach - essential.
- A solid understanding of warehouse procedures and practices.
- Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
- Be physically fit and capable of repetitive heavy lifting.
- Possess excellent attention to detail as well as fantastic communication skills - both verbal and written.
- Be self-motivated with strong time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
