About the role: We are currently seeking an Experienced Warehouse Technician to join our Coppabella mine site. Our Coppabella Moorvale joint Venture complex consists of 3 open-cut mine operations located approximately 140 kilometers southwest of Mackay that produce premium low-volatile pulverised coal (LV-PCI) for export markets. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the scope of your role is to conduct all warehousing functions for the site; in a timely effective manner ensuring all such activities are carried out in accordance with company and site policies and procedures. Duties will include: Providing practical input into the content of all short and long term maintenance plans Provide day-to-day direction to the team to ensure delivery against plans; Ensure service level is in line with Operational needs and expectations Routine management off cycle count program to ensure accurate inventory levels are maintained and SOX compliance is achieved Routine management of Rotable and Repairable materials to ensure optimal stock availability Perform core function associated with routine running of the warehouse as required; e.g. Receipt, Dispatch, Reservation Management etc Cultivate positive relationships through effective communication and provide constructive feedback to peers on a regular basis The lifestyle: This position is offered on a 7/7 day/night roster on 12.5 hour shifts and can allow residential, DIDO or FIFO lifestyle. About you: Proactive approach to safety and safety management Current motor vehicle driver's license; Forklift license Familiar using ERP system (SAP preferred) with basic skills in Microsoft Office Suite of programs Previous experience in maintenance warehousing Certificate III in transport and distribution (desirable); Manage inventory, items and disposal management activities in accordance with Peabody policies Ability to prioritise work during peak periods in a dynamic environment Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written Provide a high level of customer service Reliable Self-Starter About Peabody: Peabody is a world-leader in providing products for the production of affordable, reliable steel and energy to customers in 15 countries on five continents.
