DB Schenker Australia is seeking a dedicated and experienced Pallet Controller/Administrator to join our energetic logistics team in Redbank.

This pivotal role involves managing and recording the transition of pallets across multiple sites, aiming to reduce pallet hire costs and eliminate losses. The successful candidate will ensure operational compliance with pallet accountability procedures and contribute to the efficiency of our logistics operations.

Key Focus of Role:

• Conduct pallet reconciliations and maintain accurate control of Chep and Loscam pallets
• Manage pallet recoveries, resolve discrepancies, and maintain up-to-date pallet systems
• Educate and support team members on pallet management processes
• Liaise with customers and trading partners, handling issues, dehires, and data entry
• Ensure monthly pallet stocktakes are conducted, auditing and enhancing SOPs

Key Deliverables:

• Timely and accurate monthly pallet stocktakes, weekly reconciliations, and daily outbound reports
• Development and maintenance of effective relationships with internal and external clients
• Contribution to team knowledge sharing, support for new services or products, and active participation in personal and team development

The Ideal Candidate we're looking for:

• 1-2+ years of experience in the logistics Industry, specifically in a pallet controlling role
• Familiarity with pallet terminology, reconciliation skills, and control software (e.g., MyChep, Loscam Online, 2IC)
• Strong communication, organisational, and multi-tasking abilities
• Intermediate skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and a solid understanding of OH&S practices
• Relevant certifications or licences would be an advantage
