Are you meticulous, safety-conscious, and ready to play a vital role in maintaining equipment cleanliness to Biosecurity standards? We're seeking a Wash Bay Attendant to ensure our equipment is spotless and ready for action!
Key Responsibilities:
As a Wash Bay Attendant, you'll be responsible for:
- Utilizing pressure hoses to meticulously clean equipment in accordance with Biosecurity instructions.
- Strict adherence to all Biosecurity procedures to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
- Breaking container seals and opening containers prior to Biosecurity inspections.
- Disassembling equipment when necessary for thorough cleaning and reassembling it afterward.
- Ensuring accurate completion of all required documents.
- Providing assistance to the warehouse department as needed.
- Maintaining cleanliness and safety in the Biosecurity area at all times.
- Fulfilling other duties as assigned.
Basic Job Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should have:
- A Biosecurity approved person certificate (desirable).
- Basic knowledge of mechanics to facilitate equipment dismantling and reassembly.
- Exceptional attention to detail to ensure equipment cleanliness and compliance.
- Demonstrated experience in operating pressure hoses effectively.
- A current Perform High Risk Licence.
- The physical capability to perform manual handling tasks efficiently and safely.
