Job description ABOUT THE COMPANY.This Local Council is actively seeking for a highly motivated Waste Business Unit Coordinator who possesses a strong level of contract management experience to join their team for an immediate start. You will become a crucial player, contributing to the improvement of the community's environment.
ABOUT THE POSITION.Your role as a Waste Business Unit Coordinator entails assisting the Business Unit Manager in ensuring the effective management of waste and recycling collection services. You will be responsible for various tasks, including report writing, budget developing, liaising with different Government contacts and managing your team of truck drivers, cleaners, and more.DUTIES.

• Coordinate and manage multi-disciplinary teams
• Investigate and response to customer enquiries
• Prepare correspondence and reports for Council
• Investigate opportunities for new contract

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.

• Bachelor of Natural Science (Environmental Health) or Certificate IV in Waste Management or equivalent
• Class HC Drivers Licence
• Experience working in the waste and recycling industry
• Basic working knowledge of TRIM, Authority and TechONE
