Form of workRWWA are looking for qualified Water and waste water operators to join our growing team.
Salary package to be determined on experience and qualification.
Applicants should have some previous experience that can be demonstrated/supported in one or some of the following areas:
Plumbing, Pipework, Mechanical Fitter/Installer.
- Pumping system installation/fabrication
- Commercial Plumbing Industry Experience or License/qualification
- Pipework assembly/installation
- Medium to large Water and or Wastewater Treatment Systems Experience
- Electrical Systems Installation
Water and Wastewater Treatment Systems Operations.
- Certificate Three Qualification or equivalent in Water/Wastewater Operations issued in Australia/New Zealand (older qualifications will still be recognised)
- Pumping system operations
- Chemical dosing System operations and maintenance
- Potable Water Production and Testing – preferably with multiple types of process systems
- Membrane System experience beneficial
- Sewage Treatment System Operations
- Medium to large Water and or Wastewater Treatment Systems Experience
- Electrical Systems diagnosis
Working away from home base for contract deployments for designated periods of up to three weeks at a time.
Good mechanical aptitude with diverse experience using tools both hand and powered for the above mentioned work.
A desire to learn and further develop skills and experience in the water treatment industry.
A high level of physical fitness and free of physical ailments – must be able to pass an industry muscular skeletal medical assessment.
Must be willing to freely participate in Drug/Alcohol testing randomly and under request to align with industry site requirements and consistently produce a negative result.
