About Your Opportunity
Reporting to the Operations Supervisor Supply, you will:
- Use your technical expertise to meet water supply demands by monitoring water quality and chemical dosing
- Operate, monitor, and optimize Water Treatment processes across multiple plants
- Apply judgement to establish chemical doses and process variables using the SCADA system
- Solve treatment process and equipment issues that impact plant output and water quality
- Must pass a national police check and may have other medical/character requirements
- Work as part of a team on a roster that includes weekends, public holidays, and on-call shifts (shift allowances apply)
About you
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Possess a C class Drivers Licence for a manual vehicle (mandatory).
- Certificate III in Water Industry Operations (mandatory).
- Certificate IV in Water Industry Operations (highly desirable).
- Working knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety as it relates Water Treatment and utilities industry.
- Demonstrated experience in the operation and maintenance of Water or Wastewater Treatment Plants.
