About the Role
We are looking for a number of full-time Water Meter Replacement Technicians to service a variety of water sector clients across Melbourne who are willing to learn and grow.
Daily tasks will include, but not limited to;
• Water Meter replacement & assembly maintenance - including Remote, Mechanical & Digital meters.
• Inspect sites while discovering and locating problems and replacing/repairing components as necessary.
• Perform tasks within budgets and time frames
• Customer Service – face to face and phone
• Maintain accurate and timely digital job installation records
• Performs incidental work of a trades or non-trades nature
• Ensure that all tasks are performed in a manner consistent with state and company OH&S policies and procedures.
• Like any work, there are some tasks that can become repetitive but necessary
About You
We are looking for reliable and dedicated individuals to help us on a variety of ongoing projects. The ideal candidates will possess the following:
• A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
• An aptitude for problem solving
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• The ability to work under supervision both individually and occasionally in a team setting
• Pride in the job you do
• Attention to detail – Data Accuracy is a MUST!
• A current driver's licence
• A red/ white card
• Own hand tools
• Working with children's check police check would be advantageous and you must be able to obtain one if you don't already have one
