Due to ongoing business growth, we are on the lookout for a highly organised, open-minded, passionate action-taker to join our amazing team as Waterproofing Installation Supervisor. This is a rare and exciting opportunity for someone with superb people skills and a genuine knack for leadership, looking to build a long-term successful career. You must be hands-on, happy to lead from the front, solve problems and not create them and be part of the management team.
The role:
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for the efficient and organised coordination of installations of the specialised waterproofing products the company provides. While the diversity of the role means you will be wearing many different hats, your key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring all teams run & operates at peak efficiency with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by leading and supervising installations, employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operational objectives.
- Implementing OH&S requirements and systems ensuring the safety of all team members, suppliers, equipment, and processes.
- Maintaining stocktake and inventory integrity with high standards of reporting and traceability of all documents and our inventory management system.
- Lead by example in daily installations operations.
- Seeking and implementing improvements in operating systems, costs, policies and procedures in the receiving, storage and installation of goods.
- Building strong relationships with all construction companies.
- Ensuring the achievement of KPIs and requests are met in a timely and professional manner.
- Guaranteeing high levels of housekeeping / installations and that the sites are managed.
- Being the welcoming, friendly face to our many valued customers.
A bit about you:
Working with some of the best in the business, we are seeking someone with exceptional common sense and a “can-do” attitude, to work within a challenging yet rewarding industry. To be successful in this role:
- You have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an installations / civil operations role – having worked in a supervisor or management role would be a bonus.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Client focused and results driven, you are confident and pleasant in interacting with customers and team members of varying demographics.
- You have a demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail.
- You’re a collaborative leader who loves to get your hands dirty alongside the installation team and lead by perfect example – you also don’t mind working independently when necessary.
- You hold a current drivers licence with a good driving record and are comfortable lifting weights up to 20kg.
- You have proficient Microsoft Office skills and strong technical competence with inventory management software.
In Return:
- Outstanding Salary Package: $40ph - $60ph (depending on experience and industry knowledge) Casual Rate plus overtime and allowances when applicable
