About the OpportunityWe currently have an exciting opportunity to join us as an Advanced Trainee/Fellow within the Division of Paediatric Medicine where you will be responsible for:Contributing to the provision of clinical services to WCHN inpatients and outpatients, including on call, under consultant supervision.Providing leadership and mentoring to Trainees across all levels of training, with a particular focus on pre-written and clinical exam trainees and aiding in the coordination of the FRACP clinical exam in South Australia. * Participating in, and assist to facilitate, the Department's teaching and continuing education program, and contribute to the quality management activities within the Department.The Women's and Children's Hospital is recognised for excellence in medical training.Considerable support and supervision is given to trainee doctors, as well as generous employee benefits such as;

As per the SMOEA 2022, the total term of employment with SA Health will be 3 years. Rotations following the initial 12-months allocation as WCHN Fellow Paediatric Medicine will be determined in line with your training and SA Health's requirements. This may include transfer to other SA Health locations to perform work appropriate to classification, skills and capabilities.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:

• Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent.
• Registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration.
• Ability to work as an effective team member in a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Willingness to incorporate suggestions/feedback/complaints into personal improvement.
