• Salary - Total Indicative Remuneration - $105,155 to $170,687 (includes award salary, superannuation and any other monetary benefits) - Classification - MDP2
• Employment Part time 0.5FTE - Term Contract (temporary up to February 2026)

About the OpportunityWe currently have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Paediatric Medical Education Registrar where you will be responsible for:

• Ensure that medical and mental health simulations are delivered to a high standard.
• Adopt a therapeutic approach and adjust simulation activities and goals to meet capacities and learning needs of individual students.
• Collaborate with faculty staff in planning a simulation covering an area of paediatric social and emotional health.
• Identify specific learning objectives for the new simulation, write extensive character backstory and work with the unit artistic director to recruit and train actors.

About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:

• Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery - or equivalent.
• Registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration.
• Advanced trainee status with the Royal Australian College of Physicians
• Clinical experience and competence in the practice of paediatric medicine.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and medical students.
• Willingness to incorporate suggestions/feedback/complaints into personal improvement.
