About the Role
As a Web Officer, you will support the content management of the departments' corporate and school websites. Your responsibilities will include:
- Editing and proofreading web content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Providing expert advice and guidance on emerging and existing web-related issues, staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices.
- Ensuring web content is accessible, complies with relevant accessibility standards, and meets usability guidelines.
- Conducting regular reviews and audits of the website to identify areas for improvement and recommend updates or enhancements.
- Collaborating with graphic designers, developers, and other team members to ensure you deliver the web experience for the user.
- Building positive relationships with internal and external clients to ensure quality outcomes.
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:
- A solid background in digital content, and a good understanding of html and css, or a related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in content management, content management systems, and web governance.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with schools, corporate units, and stakeholders.
- Continuous learning mindset to stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in web content creation.
- Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple assignments and priorities.
