We are a small website design business looking to expand the team so that we can service our clients to a higher degree, as well as grow our business and service offerings. Currently, the business operates working from home and is not looking to change that in the near future. As a business, we believe that transparency, honesty and integrity are the three most important values that will see us grow, and have built a reputation with our current and prospective clients around these areas. We would expect any member joining our team to also hold these values highly both during work hours when you will represent our business and in their own personal life.
There is a plethora of businesses in our area that would benefit from having a website that would attract more customers to them, through better design, as well as added functionality, and our job as a website design business is to see their business's success through our work. We grow as our clients grow.
The Role:
The role itself is an appointment setting role, where you would be speaking to business owners over the phone, and setting appointments around the Brisbane / Logan area for our website designer to attend and further discuss the business needs in a new/refreshed website. There is an opportunity down the track, once you're more familiar with our business to sit these meetings as well if you would like to go down that route.
Your day-to-day will be speaking with multiple business owners. Starting with our own business by having a short Zoom meeting to discuss the day and any questions around the different aspects of the business, and then jumping into calling business owners around the Brisbane and Logan area to set appointments for our designers to attend and discuss upgrading their existing website, or building their business a site if they do not have one already.
Ideally, this role will be based around the hours of 9 am - 1 pm from Monday to Friday.
This is an outbound sales role and therefore would require somebody who is comfortable with getting on the phone and reaching out to businesses.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Key values of transparency, honesty & integrity
- Great oral and written communication skills
- Technical & computer literacy
- Comfortability with outbound sales
- Previous customer-facing role
- Previous sales experience favourable, but not essential
- Previous experience with WordPress & Shopify is favourable, but not essential
- Must either hold or be willing to obtain an ABN
- Australian citizen or relevant working visa
- Common sense & attention to detail
