An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen to join the expanding Glen Ewin Estate Wedding & Events team.
As an award-winning venue in the Adelaide Hills, Glen Ewin Estate hosts 200 + weddings and Events per year across two unique venues. Established over 150 years ago, the property has a vast history and boasts a bar, 2 function venues and a fig orchard.
This position is suited to a self-motivated, client focused, outgoing and organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
-Responsible for the sales of Weddings, Events & bar groups
-Responsible for the follow up on all enquiries
-Responsible for creating event orders and operations paperwork by using the appropriate technology & systems in place.
-Responsible for smooth handover to Operations, Grounds & Facilities
- Coordinate and plan weddings and Events from start to finish, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for clients.
- Collaborate with bride and groom, corporate clients to understand their vision and requirements, providing expert guidance and recommendations.
- Oversee all logistical aspects of events.
- Coordinate event timelines, schedules, and budgets, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Manage on-site coordination during events, ensuring smooth execution and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to deliver innovative and unique event experiences.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in event planning or coordination, preferably in the wedding industry.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients ,vendors and within the operation team.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
