Job Description:
As a Wedding Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the bride and groom have a memorable and stress-free wedding day. Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with the couple, guiding them through the entire wedding planning process and executing their vision flawlessly on the big day.
Responsibilities:
Client Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the bride and groom to understand their vision, preferences, and priorities for their wedding day.
Vendor Management: Source, negotiate with, and manage a network of vendors including florists, caterers, photographers, and musicians to ensure all services align with the couple's expectations and budget.
Timeline Creation: Develop comprehensive timelines and schedules for the wedding day, including ceremony, reception, and other key events, ensuring smooth transitions and efficient execution.
Detail Management: Pay meticulous attention to detail, overseeing every aspect of the wedding from seating arrangements to decor setup, to ensure everything runs seamlessly.
Problem Solving: Anticipate and troubleshoot any issues that may arise before or during the wedding, providing quick and effective solutions to minimize stress for the couple and their guests.
Communication: Maintain open and clear communication with the bride, groom, and all involved parties throughout the planning process to keep everyone informed and aligned.
Budget Oversight: Manage the wedding budget effectively, providing cost estimates, tracking expenses, and making recommendations to optimize spending while achieving the desired outcome.
On-Site Coordination: Be present on the wedding day to oversee setup, coordinate vendors, manage the schedule, and address any last-minute needs or changes as they arise.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in wedding planning or event coordination.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and solve problems creatively.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and evenings, as required by wedding schedules.
- Knowledge of wedding industry trends, traditions, and best practices.
