What you'll be doing:
This role is responsible for ensuring the provision of the highest quality physiotherapy services to patients at Nepean Hospital. In this role you will be reporting directly to the Physiotherapy Department Head, Nepean Hospital and the Physiotherapy Lead Clinician. Additionally, you will be effectively managing a busy patient caseload by prioritising patients according to clinical need and instructing patients and their relatives/ carers in physiotherapy goals, objectives and treatment plans where appropriate. A key challenge of this role is maintaining standards of clinical care in the face of an increasingly ageing population, increasing co-morbidities and dependencies, and growth of other services without concomitant enhancement in Physiotherapy services.
This position works on an alternating roster to accommodate surgical demands.
Week 1: Saturday and Sunday shifts 8am - 2:30pm
Week 2: Saturday 8am -12pm and Sunday 8am - 4:30pm

A NSW Health agency may require further information about the medical contraindication (including but not limited to an Immunisation Medical Exemption form – IM011 form).
Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa.
Selection criteria to be addressed: * Degree in Physiotherapy and Current Full National Physiotherapy Registration with AHPRA.
