Savanna has opportunities for 2 experienced Workshop Welders to join our newly created Project team.

To apply, you should have:

• Fabrication Trade Certificate 3 as a minimum requirement
• Current C (car) class driver’s license

What you'll be doing:

• Read engineering, schematic and mechanical diagrams, drawings or specifications to determine job requirements
• Inspect, service and repair rig equipment as needed to ensure reliable performance
• Complete fabrication or remedial welding to trade qualifications
• Perform fabrication repairs to equipment maintained to company requirements
• Perform fabrication repairs to equipment in accordance with legislative and manufacturers requirements
• Provide effective support to rigs, camps and the maintenance departments daily
• Use and operate all equipment in accordance with company and client policy and procedures
• Manage 3rd party work, quality and invoicing, ensuring that third party work orders are completed in a timely manner
• Conduct all work in accordance with current legislative and industry specific requirements
• Keep abreast of changes in industry standards and regulations
• Work within the scope of your trade qualification
