Our business has an excellent opportunity for highly motivated, proactive and experienced Welders to join our Mechanical Fabrication team. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently undertaking Welding tasks to a high standard to ensure production performance.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Correctly interpreting drawings and designs.
- Ensuring excellent attention to quality and detail.
- Completion of tasks to a high standard.
- Achieving production targets.
- Working within safety standards and procedures.
The successful candidate will have:
- Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication or equivalent.
- Experience in a similar fabrication environment, including following weld procedure specifications (WPS).
- MIG welding and oxy cutting in a manufacturing environment.
- Good communication, self-motivation and effective time management skills.
- Worked in a team environment.
- An understanding of workplace health and safety and compliance requirements.
