Welding Inspector - Welshpool Workshop

RCR Mining Technologies has an exciting career opportunity for a Welding Inspector based at our Welshpool Workshop.In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, reviewing, monitoring and ensuring compliance to Fabrication and Welding quality procedures, processes and standards.To be considered for this position, you will need to have:

• An Australian recognised Welding Trade Certificate
• A recognised level CSWIP 3.2 Welding Inspection qualification
• A full understanding of Australian and International Welding standards
• A minimum of 5 year’s relevant experience in Welding in a structural steel manufacturing environment, including experience in weld inspection
• Experience in working with NDT requirements including MPI/DPI/UT/RT
• Adequate computer proficiency and skill in using MS Office applications
• The ability to work autonomously without close supervision across different levels of the business
• A solid commitment to working safely in a team environment
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills for internal and external reporting and interacting with employees and client representatives
