During this time the company has gained an outstanding reputation for supplying long term maintenance contracts, shutdowns, execution of minor capital projects and welding and fabrication services to the Petro-Chemical and mining industries within the state of Western Australia.
Due to our success and continuing growth, we have opportunities across multiple sites and locations across Perth for an experienced Welding Supervisor.
The Welding Supervisor will be responsible for the following:
- Welder qualification tracking and monitoring across the business.
- Weld procedure qualifications and management of associated WPS.
- Liaise with the project management team on up-and-coming work.
- Inspect workshop and site works and provide trends and analysis looking for improvements.
- Direct supervisor to tasks that require specific controls or measures.
- Raise and contribute to resolution of NCRs and CARs
- Monitor performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports!
- Create and maintain Quality records in line with the Quality system and prepare for Internal and external quality audits.
To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate the following:
- 5 years in the industry, 2 years in a similar role.
- Must have a Cert 10, AS1796 or equivalent.
- Sound knowledge of welding codes applicable to industry.
- Trade background and ability to read drawings advantageous.
- Driver’s license
- A can-do attitude.
