If so, we're looking for a dedicated Wellbeing Advisor to drive our commitment to employee wellbeing and safety.
Primary Objectives:
- Implement, manage, and maintain a wellbeing framework that drives a safety culture of ‘home safe and well today and everyday’ and incorporates Council’s commitment to improving the overall wellbeing for all employees.
- Contribute to the design of workplace strategies including the implementation of wellbeing initiatives, policies and practice that supports the wellbeing framework.
- Support Safety Systems Officers to maintain Council’s safety management system.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- A degree in Health Promotions, Workplace, Health & Safety, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Experience in developing and implementing wellbeing frameworks and strategies within a workplace setting, preferably within a council or similar environment.
- Knowledge of wellbeing initiatives, programs, and best practices and the ability to design and implement projects that enhance employee wellbeing.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively distribute wellbeing information and engage with employees at all levels.
- Proficient in managing wellbeing metrics, tracking progress, and producing insightful reports to demonstrate the impact of wellbeing initiatives.
- A genuine passion for promoting wellbeing and safety in the workplace, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
