THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Wellbeing & Health Business Partner to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the management of employee health and wellbeing initiatives, ensuring compliance with legal obligations and promoting a culture of wellness within Council.

DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the implementation of our Wellbeing Strategy, developing and executing initiatives that promote physical, mental, and emotional wellness.
Serve as a resource for employees navigating workplace injuries, ensuring they receive the support and resources needed for their recovery.
Oversee health monitoring processes, leveraging data to identify trends and proactively address potential health risks among our workforce.
Collect and analyse data to measure the impact of our wellness initiatives and injury management, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
ABOUT YOU
You are an experienced Wellbeing and Health enthusiast with exceptional communication skills and ability to build strong, positive relationships with stakeholders. Your expertise in Wellbeing and injury management matters will be a valuable asset. Your adeptness in project management will ensure the successful implementation of strategic initiatives. Knowledge and experience managing complex workers compensation claims will be highly regarded.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE
Bachelor in in Human Resources, Safety or Allied Health or related discipline or experience commensurate to the qualification.
Accreditation as a Return to Work Coordinator.
Solid experience in proactive Return to Work Coordination including injury management, claims reviews, premium and claims monitoring.
Strong experience implementing successful health and wellbeing strategies and initiatives.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate across all levels within the business
Demonstrated understanding of relevant legislation, regulations and standards related to Workers Compensation, Psychosocial Risks, WHS, Health, Workplace Wellbeing and Privacy.
Demonstrated ability to design, deliver and evaluate initiatives across a diverse organisation within required timeframes.
