Wharehouse Assembler Domestc Shipping

The Warehouse Assembler / Domestic Shipping role is responsible for picking, packing and assembling products, and dispatching orders to our wholesale, online customers and internal staff. They will be organizing returns when necessary, and have cycle counts in the Assembling room, which follows FIFO under GMP standards. This role should also provide relevant support to Sales Admin & DCM if requested, and follow-ups as required. This position should oversee the accuracy of shipments, stock control and meet all responsibility requirements. 

The Warehouse Assembler / Domestic Shipping position reports to the Distribution Centre Manager.

1. Responsibilities

• Communicating to other Assembly staff when assisting with tasks needed to be fulfilled
• Picking components, subassemblies for the assembling of products
• Producing finished goods by assembling components and subassemblies
• Placing finished assembled products to the allocated Shelf/Bin location
• Reporting to the DCM and logging any defective components/finished goods into supplied spreadsheet on the Company database.
• Fulfilling pick/pack and dispatching duties to ship finished goods to meet Domestic Sales Order requirements
• Processing Domestic Sales Orders by ensuring that the correct item has been delivered and the shipment has been sent to the correct location
• Making sure parcels are packed in the manner that ensures the safety of the shipment and no damage to the products inside
• Ensuring all F&B System Serial Numbers and Batch Numbers on products match the items sent within the shipment
• Preparing all relevant documentation needed in the Domestic Shipping process
• Fulfilling and invoicing Sales Orders on NetSuite
• Ensuring all transactions are recorded in the Company database
• Making sure that shipments are dispatched daily and communications with StarTrack if needed
• Managing pick up requests for customer returns/warranty repairs
• Managing pick up requests for Local Suppliers if needed by DCM
• Managing dispatch to Local Suppliers if needed by DCM
• Contributing to Team effort by accomplishing other tasks (could be in other departments or if Team member is on leave) if needed
• Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by complying with GMP procedures, rules, and regulations.
