WHS Advisor

Work with a national service provider who is seeking a WHS Advisor for 3 months, starting immediately in the Sydney City fringe. While this role is for 3 months, there is a possibility for extension.The CompanyOperating in Australia's major cities and ports, their services include cleaning, waste removal, and entertainment. With a partnership approach, they prioritise communication and quality outcomes to ensure smooth coordination with airlines, offering monthly reports and recommendations. With experience serving multiple airlines, they deliver cost-effective solutions tailored to individual requirements.The Role

• Reporting to the Director of Safety you will;
• Ensure all policies, procedures, rules and regulations are reviewed, updated and in line with current legalities.
• Analyse data within work health & safety and prepare recommendations to the wider business for improvements.
• Ongoing improvements and current workplace matters are addressed, such as PPE, health and safety and equipment maintenance.
• Completion of audits and legislative requirements are up to date.

Experience

• To be successful for this role you will need;
• A deep understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and standards.This includes knowledge of occupational hazards, risk assessment techniques, and emergency response protocols.
• Prior experience in a related role, such as a safety coordinator or safety officer.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills required.
• Ability to work immediately.
