Work with a national service provider who is seeking a WHS Advisor for 3 months, starting immediately in the Sydney City fringe. - Reporting to the Director of Safety you will;
- Ensure all policies, procedures, rules and regulations are reviewed, updated and in line with current legalities.
- Analyse data within work health & safety and prepare recommendations to the wider business for improvements.
- Ongoing improvements and current workplace matters are addressed, such as PPE, health and safety and equipment maintenance.
- Completion of audits and legislative requirements are up to date.
- To be successful for this role you will need;
- A deep understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and standards.This includes knowledge of occupational hazards, risk assessment techniques, and emergency response protocols.
- Prior experience in a related role, such as a safety coordinator or safety officer.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills required.
- Ability to work immediately.
