Your new role
- Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures in collaboration with the relevant manger.
- Responsible for carrying out company inductions of new employees
- Lead and assist in the development and review of company SWMS and procedures.
- Initiate, book and organise safety training and update registers across all platforms.
- Act as the Primary First aid officer on site.
- Take minutes at the weekly management meeting and maintain all systems registers.
- Maintain all PPE stock and supplies.
- Manage all worker’s compensation claims in collaboration with the relevant manager.
- Report to official regulatory bodies on WHS matters.
What you'll need to succeed
- Cert IV in WHS as a minimum
- Prior experience in WHS.
- Excellent systems skills and abilities – Outlook, Word, and EXCEL as a minimum
- Excellent communication skills and organisation skills
- A very proactive and solutions-focused attitude
