WHSE Advisor | Construction

Looking for an experienced WHSE Advisor to make a meaningful contribution to health and safety at Shadforth in the Moreton Bay Region

Progress your career working with a leading civil contracting company supporting a major project in the Moreton Bay Region. Reporting to the Senior WHS Advisor, you will work hand-in-hand with the Project Site Teams, delivering impactful health and safety outcomes on various Civil Construction Projects.
Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting site audits and inspections to ensure compliance with WHS policies and procedures
• Contribute to maintaining, recommending and implementing continuous improvements of WHSE programs
• Provide guidance and continuous feedback to employees on safe working procedures
• Establish collaborative and supportive relationships to achieve effective safety outcomes
• Support and facilitate incident investigation processes

About you
As an experienced Safety professional, you'll demonstrate:

• Proven experience in HSE and delivering health and safety outcomes on civil projects
• Certificate IV in OHS
• Solid understanding of relevant legislation, regulation and industry best practices
• Knowledge of Government training polices and Indigenous Procurement
• Demonstrated ability to plan and schedule Safety Programs
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office: Excel, Outlook,Word
• Ability to lead HSE communications in small groups
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to develop good rapport with people at all levels
• Hold a current Drivers licence with reliable transport
