We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our installation team on a full-time basis. The role requires installation of all types of window coverings: blinds, curtains, shutters and awnings, as well as security screens and doors.
THE JOB WILL REQUIRE:
- Visiting clients homes to install their purchased products.
- Installation of Window Furnishings products (blinds, awnings, shutters, curtains etc) and security doors and screens.
- Liasing with clients with regards to appointment times and order details.
- Maintaining a professional and helpful manner towards customers at all times.
- Onsite problem solving by yourself and potentially with other staff members in our installation team.
- Work sites will be mainly in the Coffs Harbour LGA, however we service clients between Yamba to Nambucca and in-land to Dorrigo.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in the Window Furnishings industry is considered an advantage, but not necessary.
- Other “trades” experience also considered, such as carpentry or handy man.
- A current drivers license.
- Requires thorough attention to detail.
- Technical problem solving skills.
- Must be able to work in a team environment as well as independently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- WHS Whitecard would be an advantage but not necessary.
- Holding a Construction Induction Safety certificate (White Card) would be considered an advantage.
- Holding a Security License for the installation of security screens and doors would also be considered an advantage.
