Job description

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable uPVC Window Installer and Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our installation and Service crew, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing uPVC windows and doors. Your attention to detail, technical expertise, and commitment to quality workmanship will contribute to our customers’ satisfaction and the success of our business.

Responsibilities:

1. Installation and Repair:

o Read blueprints or work order specifications to determine layout and installation procedures.

o Measure and mark guidelines for accurate installations.

o Install, repair, and Service interior prefabricated products, including uPVC doors, windows, kitchen cupboards, bathroom vanities, water heaters, and household appliances using hand and power tools.

2. Customer Service:

o Serve existing accounts by analyzing work orders, planning daily travel schedules, and investigating complaints.

o Conduct tests and resolve any issues promptly.

o Establish service relationships by studying system requirements, ordering necessary components and parts, completing installations, and performing acceptance tests.

3. Quality Control:

o Ensure the quality of installations and repairs meets industry standards.

o Pay attention to detail during installation and repair processes.

o Perform caulking and weatherstripping as needed.

4. Safety and Compliance:

o Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on-site.

o Comply with all relevant regulations and standards.

5. Professionalism and Communication:

o Maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with clients.

o Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Prior experience in uPVC window and door installation is preferred.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using hand and power tools for installation and repair work.

• Attention to Detail: Ability to follow precise instructions and ensure accurate installations.

• Problem-Solving: Capable of troubleshooting issues and resolving problems efficiently.

• Customer-Focused: Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to client satisfaction.

• Physical Stamina: The role involves physical labor, including lifting and maneuvering uPVC materials.

• Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license is required for travel to job sites.
