Wine Sales, Hospitality and Events Team Members

Seppeltsfield Wines, founded in 1851, is one of Australia’s oldest wineries. The business is still South Australian owned as part of the Randall Wine Group which employs over 100 staff, working from vineyards and wineries, to cellar door, café, events, sales, and administration. Our ambition is to deliver a world class destination and visitor experiences, and in 2023 we won the award for Best Tourism Winery at the South Australian Tourism Awards.  We are recruiting for additional permanent part time and casual staff based in our cellar door. 

Our Wine Sales, Hospitality and Events team provide service to guests at cellar door, private function and Events, on tours, and to customers at the café.  The team are ambassadors for our brand, through delivering an outstanding level of service and experience when hosting visitors and sharing knowledge. 

The purpose of the role is to achieve Wine Sales and an exceptional customer experience, through delivering a high standard of service and wine education.  Key tasks Include:-

• Hosting wine tastings, cellar tours and processing sales 
• Supporting private experiences, estate tours, and functions including assisting with set up, hosting, and pack down 
• Set up and assist with the delivery of group experiences in private areas
• Maintaining the presentation of the cellar door through daily tasks including cleaning and restocking
• Providing prompt, professional and friendly service to customers 
• Communicate product and brand information to guests
• Contribute to the achievement of sales revenue targets through executing sales promotions and implementing sales tactics to achieve sales of wine

We are looking for team players with excellent communication skills, a positive and vibrant approach.  Good wine knowledge and a Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate are essential. 

A range of shifts will be available to suit the right candidates, including mostly weekday hours with some weekend work. Permanent part-time and casual positions available.
