AddressNestled within the industrial streets of Cremorne, Lilac is a neighbourhood wine bar which draws inspiration from far and wide but is driven by connection to the community. Stripped back and honest, we celebrate local and seasonal produce, leaning into classic flavours of French bistro comfort food with a touch of nostalgic Australia.
We are now looking for a Wine waiter/waitress to assist with the wine programme and help us continue to deliver incredible guest experiences
Our beverage programme is spearheaded by a dynamic wine list focusing on artisanal small-scale growers and producers who aren’t afraid to go against convention or take risks but can still display a real respect to the craft of grape growing and winemaking.
Lilac Wine Bar is part of The Mulberry Group, which includes Hazel, Dessous, Heide Kitchen, Liminal, Square One Rialto, and our not-for-profit social enterprise Common Ground Project which supports food security, regenerative farming, and employment pathways for people in the community.

Our ideal candidate will have:
- A passion for giving genuinely warm hospitality
- A positive attitude and ability to engage with guests from all walks of life
- A strong beverage knowledge with wine focus and the ability and want to develop these skills within our wine program, ideally with a minimum of WSET level 2
- A wide range of hospitality experience and the willingness to participate in all aspects of service
- Experience in a similar role in a fast paced environment
