This newly created role is perfect for a HR Advisor looking to take their next step in their career. As the primary point of contact for a portfolio of approximately 350 employees, you will provide HR advice and services, playing a crucial role in shaping the company's culture, talent management, and employee experience.
Your new role
Reporting into the People and Culture Director and working within a wider HR and leadership community, responsibilities include:
- Strategic Partnership:
Collaborate closely with business executives and relevant managers to provide strategic HR advice aligned with organisational priorities. - Policy Development:
Research, develop, and implement HR policies that enhance the employee work environment while supporting business objectives. - Employee Relations:
Provide expert guidance on HR matters, including employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labour laws. - Organisational Development:
Identify hidden technical issues that may hinder the company's goals and work towards solutions. - Communication:
Foster effective communication across all levels of the organisation, influencing positive employee experiences. - Business Acumen:
Combine technical and business knowledge to develop policies that align with our business goals.
What you'll need to succeed
- A well-developed knowledge of and experience in the application of contemporary HR procedures and practices
- Proven ability to interpret legislation, regulations, awards, and industrial agreements together with policies and procedures
- A high level of ability to interact proactively with management and staff at all levels of the organisation in the resolution of HR issues
- Proven ability to contribute towards the development and implementation of HR programs and initiatives to meet the needs of the organisation
What you need to do now
This position is either permanent full-time or permanent .8, which can either be 4 days or 5 days, school hours. The top end package is 130k, which includes base, allowance, salary sacrifice and super.
