Qualifications & experience
- Previous Head waiter experience of 2+ years.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Proficiency in restaurant software and point-of-sale systems.
- Knowledge of food safety and health regulations.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong wine and beverage knowledge
- Victorian RSA
Tasks & responsibilities
- Staff Management: Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising restaurant staff to provide exceptional service. Lead by example to maintain a positive work environment.
- Customer Service: Ensure that guests have a memorable dining experience by addressing their needs and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations, including inventory management, quality control, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Team Development: Support the professional development of staff members through training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
- Problem-Solving: Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges to ensure the venue runs smoothly.
