We specialize in delivering top-notch services to support critical government operations. Currently, we are seeking skilled Wintel Technical Engineers and Systems Engineers to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview: As a Wintel Technical Engineer / Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing multi-level support for our government projects. This position requires a blend of strong technical expertise and excellent interpersonal skills. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work within a managed services environment, utilizing their proficiency across Microsoft technologies and other essential systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and engineering expertise in Wintel systems
- Collaborate effectively within a Managed Services environment
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in Microsoft technology engineering
- Manage and engineer Midrange systems, including Citrix and SQL
- Utilize VMWare or HyperV experience to optimize system performance
- Obtain and maintain VMWare certifications
- Apply Incident, Problem, and Change Management principles, with ITIL V3 certification highly regarded
- Utilize knowledge of virtualized environments and Microsoft technologies
- Prioritize security and compliance standards, especially within Government or Defence Projects
- Continuously enhance skills through relevant MS Certifications and ongoing education
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders through excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven experience in a Wintel Engineer / Systems Engineer role, with a minimum level of experience required
- Australian Citizenship is mandatory for application
- Hold a current Security Clearance of NV1 or NV2
- Strong knowledge and experience in Microsoft technology engineering
- Familiarity with Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes
- Previous experience working within Government or Defence Projects is preferred
- Territory education in IT, along with relevant MS Certifications, is advantageous
