AddressWe’re seeking experienced and skilled Plant Operators to assess and manage the conditions of the carparks and clear the snow providing clear and safe access for our guests. Safety is a priority, and you will be responsible for overseeing machinery maintenance and keeping a daily log of safety checks of plant and equipment, addressing minor technical issues before they escalate. As a member of the Resort Operations team, you may be required to use your skills and knowledge to assist other teams, within your department, to complete work-related tasks.
Mt Hotham is located in north-east Victoria, about 4.5 hours from Melbourne and is considered the “Powder Capital’ of Australia. What amazing skills and experience will score you this role?
- 5+ years' experience in plant operations in built up environments.
- Victorian Working with Children Check (Employee)
- HR driver license
- Current First Aid Certificate and CPR qualifications
- Work Safely in the Construction Industry CPCCOHS1001A (White Card)
- Backhoe, loader and other plant specific licences/tickets
- Physically capable of taking on demanding tasks in potentially harsh conditions.
- Ability to ‘iron out’ any unexpected issues that might arise
- A LOVE of the outdoors, including the rain, hail, shine and of course…Snow!
- Available from May/June to the start of October 2024 (including weekends and school holidays)
