AddressOur client is a premium womenswear label known for their commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainability. We're joining them in the search for a passionate and experienced Womenswear Product Developer!
This role is pivotal in shaping their product lines and ensuring the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with designers to bring innovative Womenswear Products from concept to market.
- CADs/ sketches updates – from sketch sign off handed over from design assistant
- Assist Design Assistant with fabric sourcing where needed
- Create detailed technical specifications and oversee the sampling process.
- Create offshore and local tech packs
- Wash test fabrics and characteristics at sampling stage and development.
- Conduct fittings and provide constructive feedback to ensure perfect garment fit and quality.
- Create grading for all products
- Manage production timelines to ensure timely delivery of collections.
- Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate new techniques and materials into product development.
- Proven experience as a Product Developer in womenswear.
- Ideally experience in a premium brands, and experience with high-quality fabrics such as silk and cashmere
- Deep understanding of garment construction, pattern making, and textiles.
- Ideally experience with both local and offshore development
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Creative problem-solving abilities and a meticulous eye for detail.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, CAD, PLM systems).
